The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has the eyes of the nation closely glued to her as she is set to present the Budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025. The full budget for FY24-25 will be presented on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 11 AM IST in the Parliament.
The budget will highlight the financial roadmap of the newly elected Modi government focusing on key development in infrastructure, fiscal deficit, social welfare schemes and changes in tax policies.

Anyone can easily watch the Union Budget 2024 presentation and FM Sitharaman's budget speech on the Sansad TV, Doordarshan and their respective YouTube channels. The Ministry of Finance will also provide a live stream on their official website, www.finmin.nic.in. The budget will be broadcast and live-streamed on all these platforms.
Once the Budget is presented in the parliament, it will be made available online on the government's official website www.indiabudget.gov.in. The comprehensive budget document, financial statements and the exhaustive list of allocations of funds can be read online by everyone. The document is available in English and Hindi.
The normal budget cycle starts on the 1st of February. However, in case of general elections, an interim budget is presented.
