Namma Yatri Launches Zero Commission Cabs In Bengaluru 

Namma Yatri will soon introduce inter-city rentals and scheduled rides across Karnataka.

Namma Yatri, a ride-hailing platform, has announced the launch of cab services in Bengaluru. Like its auto services, the platform will provide a lifetime zero-commission, direct-to-driver model. Additionally, as per the company statement, Namma Yatri takes the lead as the first app to embrace the latest pricing guidelines set forth by the Karnataka government.

 It offers cab services (Non-AC Mini, AC Mini, Sedan, and XL Cab), catering to diverse customer needs. The app will soon introduce inter-city rentals and scheduled rides and open up across Karnataka. It will also accommodate special requests like disability-friendly rides, extra luggage, traveling with pets, and trips to public transport hubs.

Namma Yatri already has 25,000 cab drivers and aims to onboard over 1 lakh drivers in the next six months. For the next six months, drivers using Namma Yatri will not be charged any money. From October 1, they will be charged Rs 90 for unlimited rides.   

As of now, Namma Yatri’s auto services are available in seven cities, including Bengaluru, Mysuru, Tumakuru, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi. A report by the Deccan Herald says that the company aims to expand its auto services to the following places: Mangaluru, Udupi, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi, Shivamogga, and Kalaburagi. Apart from Bengaluru, the company currently has cab services in Kochi and Kolkata.
