“To increase skilled workforce, Google Cloud has proposed setting up a startup hub and centre of excellence in MP,” said Yadav.

During his visit, Yadav interacted with nearly 30 industrialists to attract investments in space technology and other sectors. CM also held talks with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to set up an aerospace and defence development wing in the state.

His efforts are in alignment with making MP as key state in India’s growth story, said an official as per a Times of India’s report. The state is determined to make full use of its strategic location and attract investors.

With investment proposals worth Rs 3,200 crore, job creation too will pick up in the state. CM said the proposed projects will generate nearly 7,000 employment opportunities. The state government already offers employment-oriented courses to meet the requirement of information technology (IT), information technology enabled services (ITES) and electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM) sectors.

Chip giant NVIDIA has stepped up to draft a plan to develop the state as the “Intelligence Capital of India”, said an official press statement. “With the positive response we have got, I am hopeful we will see many IT companies setting up campuses in MP,” said the CM. Additionally, he held roundtable discussions with representatives from the space technology sector, Nasscom, Infosys, Cognizant and TCS.

The two-day visit of the CM is a groundwork for the upcoming “Invest Madhya Pradesh- Global Investors Summit 2025” and the ambition of the state to emerge as an economic tiger of the country. The first such event, “Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh” took place in Mumbai in July this year.
