The company launched India’s first indigenous 5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) solution, as the company expects a massive demand in this segment. The product will help solve India's last-mile internet connectivity problems in both rural and urban area's and in many aspects as per the company, these products can solve a global cause as well.

According to a Bank of America analysis, 5G-based FWA services might be valued up to $9 billion annually and could be a useful replacement for fiber internet. In the light of this report, the company expects that the product they have developed will be able to capture a good chunk of the market, as currently small and medium enterprises are popping in various places throughout the country and the demand for faster internet is prevalent than ever.

5G FWA CPE devices will complement wired broadband, supporting both 5G SA and NSA technologies across different frequency bands. These devices aim to offer fibre-like high-speed connectivity via 5G networks, addressing areas with limited fiber deployment. HFCL says CPEs are compact, energy-efficient, equipped with Wi-Fi 6 for fast multi-device connections, and come with an AI-integrated mobile app for user-friendly self-installation and signal optimization.
