The report analysed the high-profile moments with data from the executive search firm Longhouse Consulting.

Tata Digital, the group's ecommerce unit, appointed Tahilyani as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and managing director (MD), replacing Pratik Pal. Prior to this, Tahilyani was the CEO of TATA AIA Life Insurance.

Owing to substantial regulatory challenges from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the fintech industry also had a major shuffle in their CEOs and managing directors with Surinder Chawla resigning Paytm Payments Bank, citing personal resigns and in search of better career opportunities and Bhavesh Gupta, president and Chief operating officer (COO) of Paytm joining Operating Mynds Consultancy.

Rakesh Singh, CEO of broking services at PayU-backed wealth startup Fisdom, replaced Varun Sridhar as the CEO of wealth management company Paytm Money.

PhonePe appointed Yes Bank's chief digital officer Ritesh Pai as CEO of its international business. Previously, Pai was the president of products and solutions at cross-border payments firm Terrapay.

Likewise, in the Indian edtech sector, Arjun Mohan, CEO of Byju's India, left the edtech firm six months after taking the role, leading the founder Raveendran to take charge of the daily operations of the company's business.

Himanshu Bajaj, also left his role as the CEO of Byju's tuition centre business and joined consultancy firm Alvarez and Marsal as it co-country and managing director.
