Tata Power launched the campaign in Jodhpur, Rajasthan
Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL) launched a pan India campaign, ‘GharGharSolar, Tata Power ke Sangh', on Monday to promote the adoption of residential rooftop solar solutions in the country. The national campaign was launched from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Tata Power’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr Praveer Sinha inaugurated the programme.
Speaking at the launch of the programme, Sinha expressed hope that Tata Power would play a critical role in adoption of rooftop solar in the country. He said, “Tata Power is the most experienced and technically advanced Rooftop Solar provider, with a pan-India presence to support the faster adoption of rooftop solar. Our widespread channel partner network across 310 districts and proven track record of over three decades in this domain make us the most preferred and trusted partner of clean energy solutions for lakhs of consumers in the country."
Deepesh Nanda, CEO and MD Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, was also present during the launch of the campaign. As per the official statement of the company, Tata Power offers a 25-year warranty on modules, trusted quality assurance, exclusive sales and service in over 310 districts, lifetime service and after-sales support across India, easy financing options, and insurance for solar rooftop systems.
Its dominant position in the market along with government’s push for the installation of rooftop solar is expected to aide the campaign in the country. The company would utilize over 5000 channel partners and retailers to cover the country.
Tata Power Solar has installed over 2 GW of rooftop solar capacity so far and the company served over 80,000 customers.
