PM Modi Rozgar Mela: The individuals at Rozgar Mela will join several government ministries and departments
Around 51,000 individuals will receive their offer letters from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26 September. This will be a part of the government's employment fair called Rozgar Mela and will be done virtually via video conferencing.
Recruitment will take place at 46 locations across the country, and in Central Government Departments, state governments, and union territories that are supporting the initiative, according to Mint.
The individuals will join Ministries and Departments including the Department of Posts, the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among others.
The Rozgar Mela is a step in the direction of the Prime Minister's promise to give employment creation priority. The occasion is anticipated to encourage further employment creation and provide significant chances for young empowerment and their involvement in national development.
The Rozgar Melas have been held all over the nation as part of Mission Recruitment, which has been coordinated by the Government of India, some States, and Union Territories. These gatherings bring together employers and job seekers, and they provide monthly appointment letters to the young people. Since the Rozgar Mela began in October 2022, the Prime Minister has given out thousands of appointment letters.
Since last October, the government has sent job letters to 5.5 lakh young people, said union minister BL Verma.
Verma distributed appointment letters to 250 of the 1,000 aspirants who were chosen for membership in the BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB, and ITBP Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in August of this year.
He claimed that the government's attempts to reduce unemployment in the nation include the Rozgar Mela program.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is filling positions in a number of CAPFs, including the Delhi Police, CRPF, BSF, SSB, Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, and Narcotics Control Bureau, through this Rozgar Mela event, according to the officials.
