OpenAI has said that the new features will be rolled out to Plus and Enterprise users over a time period of 14 days.

“ChatGPT can now see, hear, and speak. Rolling out over next two weeks, Plus users will be able to have voice conversations with ChatGPT and to include images in conversations. They (voice and image capabilities) offer a new, more intuitive type of interface by allowing you to have a voice conversation or show ChatGPT what you’re talking about," the Microsoft backed company said in a post on the microblogging site X.

The new features will allow ChatGPT to compete with its rival counterparts like Midjourney, Google Bard AI, Inflection AI, Jasper Chat, among others.
