The commercial LPG cylinder price has been cut once again by petroleum and oil marketing companies. As per latest updates, in major relief to users, these prices have been cut by Rs 171.50, ANI reports.
According to the revised rates, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at Rs 1856.50. Accordingly, it must be noted that there are no changes in the price of domestic LPG cylinder and the rates that came to into effect after last changes, stand as it is.
The official tweet from ANI reads, “Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. The rate of 19 KG commercial LPG gas cylinders has been slashed by Rs 171.50 with effect from today. Delhi retail sales price of 19kg commercial LPG cylinder is Rs 1856.50 from today: Source.”
Apart from Delhi, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Kolkata will now be Rs 1960.50 from the previous Rs 2132.00. In Mumbai, this cylinder will now cost Rs 1808 instead of the previous Rs 1980; and in Chennai, it would cost Rs 2021, instead of the old Rs 2192.
Even before this rate cut, the petroleum and oil marketing companies reduced the cost of commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 91.50 per unit on April 1, 2023. However, before these successive reductions, these companies also hiked the prices of commercial LPG cylinder on March 1.
