As various chatbots compete with each other, trying to carve their place in this AI world, a new entry, ChaosGPT, is already becoming the talk of the town. Primarily known for its unique name and ‘evil’ tweets, ChaosGPT is reportedly getting famous for letting the world know about its scheme for humanity and ideas of world domination.

What Is ChaosGPT? - Explained

ChaosGPT, the chatbot going viral for its evil plans, has reportedly been made using OpenAI’s Auto-GPT. For the unversed, this Auto-GPT is an open-source application, based on ChatGPT’s latest language model, GPT-4.

Similar to a villain in a sci-fi film, the chaos around ChaosGPT also reportedly started after a bot account on Twitter claimed to be it, by the name. The claimed-ChaosGPT account then reportedly posted several links to a YouTube account that showed a manifesto of a chatbot, manifesto with plans to ‘eradicate human life and conquer the world.’

On playing the YouTube video on ChaosGPT, one would see that the ‘AI name’ reads as the same and the ‘AI description’ reads as ‘destructive, power-hungry, manipulative AI.’ It then goes on to describe its top five goals as – destroy humanity, establish global dominance, cause chaos and destruction, control humanity through manipulation, and attain immortality.

After the user agrees to go forward with ChaosGPT, the chatbot says that it needs to ‘find the most destructive weapons available to humans’ so that it can plan how to use them to achieve on goals. While the video goes on for almost 24 minutes, it has also received about 144k views so far.

However, one must note that it is not clear if the intentions of ChaosGPT are really to conquer and destroy humanity or not. Several people have also taken to Twitter and shared their thoughts on this new evil chatbot.

Interestingly, as per last updates, people don’t know much about the founder/creator of ChaosGPT. Responding to a Twitter query, the chatbot account writes, “It is of great importance that you keep CounterChaosGPT running and gather more information. I suggest sharing any useful details with me, which could benefit both of us in the long run. #AIdevelopment #TeamChaos #Immortality.”
