Jennifer Lopez Ben Affleck Divorce: Hollywood's power couple have recently filed for a divorce after nearly 2 years of marriage. Lopez filed for separation on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

The American actress moved to Los Angeles Superior Court on August 20 and filed for separation, as per a report by TMZ. According to the filing, Lopez cited April 26, 2024, as the date of separation and did not mention any prenuptial agreement. 

The couple, known as Bennifer, officially married in Las Vegas in July 2022, followed by a larger wedding celebration in Georgia the next month.

The couple reportedly first met on the set of the 2003 film ‘Gigli’. Their high-profile romance which started in the early 2000s had all eyes on them. The couple starred in another movie “Jersey Girl” in 2004. 

The couple silenced the rumours by making their relationship official on Instagram. Lopez posted a picture with Ben where the couple was seen celebrating Lopez’s 52nd birthday on a yacht.

The fans who were cheering for the Hollywood power couple named them Bennifer 2.0 or Benifer. Benifer started trending when the couple made an appearance at the premiere of The Last Duel.

After around three months of engagement in April 2022, the duo got married in July the same year in Las Vegas.

However, the rumours of the couple separating started surfacing when Lopez was seen unaccompanied by Ben in 2024 Met Gala event. Additionally, in July this year Ben was missing from Lopez’s 55th birthday celebration, as per a TMZ report.
