The megastar's mansion, which will be sold to an unnamed buyer, has no windows, doors, or interior finishes including completed plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning systems as per multiple media reports.

The 4,000 square feet mansion facing the Pacific Ocean was designed by the Japanese Pritzker Architecture Prize-winner, Tadao Ando. Kanye reportedly bought the house listed at around $75 million in a profitable deal for $57 million in 2021. Just after buying the huge mansion, he stripped it of all the basic furnishing devoiding it of the feel and look of a mansion.

Kanye then took it upon himself to renovate the house and hired Tony Saxon to give shape to his demands. The contractor, Tony Saxon has accused Kanye of mistreating him and sued him thereafter. Saxon alleged that while working on renovating the mansion, he was made to work for 16 hours a day and forced to sleep on the floor.

Kanye also wanted the house to be renovated without a proper electrical system in place. The issue became a bone of contention between the two and led to Saxon getting fired in November 2021. West threatened Saxon and reportedly said, "If you don't do what I say, you're not going to work for me, I'm not gonna be your friend anymore and you'll just see me on TV."

Despite the property lacking fundamental necessities was listed by Jason Oppenheim Group and described as "an exceedingly rare architectural achievement that should be seen as a masterful work of art, rather than just a residence."

Simultaneously, Kanye also entangled himself in controversy as the rapper wore a "White Lives Matter" T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week and garnered a lot of negative publicity.

After multiple attempts to sell, Oppenheim Group has finally found a buyer for the expansive mansion.
