Mohammed Siraj Dismisses Aussie Labuschagne Post-Heated Argument; Know The Pacer's Net Worth

India cricketer Mohammed Siraj had all eyes of cricket enthusiasts on him as his performance on Friday at the first Australia vs India cricket match amazed fans. The Indian cricket team's right-arm medium-fast bowler, backed up captain Jasprit Bumrah with two wickets and to have Australia trailing by 83 on first innings of the test match.

However, it was not only his performance that grabbed eye-balls during the match. During the 13th over, while  Siraj was charging towards the ball in order to attempt a run-out Australian cricketer Marnus Labuschagne pushed it away with his bat, which upset the Indian pacer. The incident then led up to a heated argument between the two.

Siraj, who hails from Hyderabad, has represented India in all formats of the game. His international debut was in T20Is in 2018. However, it was his maiden Test assignment in Australia in 2020/21 which established him in the international arena.

Post the Australia Test and performance at the Indian Premier League (ILP), Siraj's stocks skyrocketed. He also earned a spot in the ODI set-up in 2022.

Siraj's Net Worth

Currently, this Indian pacer holds a net worth of around Rs. 57 crores or a little above $7 million as of 2024.

As per annual player retainership announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2024, Siraj has been categorised as Grade A cricketer who is entitled to earning an annual salary of Rs. 5 crore.

Siraj was retained by RCB for a sum of Rs. 7 crore, which is his current ILP salary. From his contribution to the Indian cricket team in all formats and participation in IPL he annually takes home upto Rs. 9 crore, according to Sportskeeda.

Furthermore, BCCI announced a cash prize of INR 125 crore for all its members and support staff as reward for winning the T20 World Cup 2024.

His brand endorsements also contribute a significant amount to his wealth. His major endorsements include Thumbs Up, fantasy sports platform My11Circle, men’s grooming brand BE O MAN and one of his first international commercial venture Crash on the Run, mobile endless runner game.
