Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away at the night of October 9 due to critical health conditions. He was admitted to the intensive care unit of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Minutes after he died, condolences started pouring in from people across the country. Among the ones paying tribute were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah, leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi, industrialist Gautam Adani and other dignitaries. They admired Tata’s contribution to the nation and remembered the time they spent with the visionary.
