According to the report Twitter staff was informed via email that they had time till 5:00 pm to leave the CapitalGreen Building and resume their work remotely from today. Twitter has reassigned employees working from Singapore as remote workers in its internal system.

Singapore serves as Twitter's Asia-Pacific headquarters.

Ever since Musk took control of Twitter the company has gone through a massive change in its corporate structure and mass layoffs.

Earlier this week, Musk-led social media platform reportedly axed more jobs. While the SpaceX and Tesla CEO axed about 50 per cent of Twitter staff ever since his takeover, as per latest reports, more job cuts have now happened.

According to a Bloomberg report, this time, Twitter layoffs have impacted the trust and safety team handling the global content moderation and in the unit related to hate speech and harassment. While the exact number of these job cuts is not yet known, it is reportedly expected that at least a dozen more cuts happened on Friday night.
