However, making punctual and cost-effective parcel deliveries is crucial for their steady growth and success. Logistics services address these concerns head-on by offering rapid and efficient express delivery solutions. By removing bottlenecks and enhancing delivery efficiency, courier aggregators facilitate trade and contribute to the growth and success of SMEs in a fiercely competitive market.

Additionally, managing RTO shipments remains a significant challenge, directly impacting their profit margins. In India, Cash on Delivery (COD) is the preferred payment method for 65 percent of consumers, while the remaining 35 percent opt for prepaid payments. Alarmingly, one in every four COD orders is returned, compared to just one in every 100 prepaid orders. 

Each RTO order means SMEs have to bear both the burden of forward and return shipping costs. Additionally, once a COD shipment is delivered, logistics partners often take 7 to 14 days to remit the collected cash to the SMEs' bank accounts. This delay can severely affect cash flow and business operations. 

Logistics aggregators present a viable solution to this problem. By remitting COD amounts within just 1-2 days, they provide SMEs with quicker access to funds that would otherwise be tied up for extended periods. This prompt remittance can be crucial for maintaining operational liquidity and sustaining business growth.
