Gensol Engineering, a leader in solar EPC and electric mobility, and Matrix Gas & Renewables, a green hydrogen infrastructure developer, announced on Tuesday that their consortium has emerged as the lowest bidder for India’s first biomass-to-green hydrogen project. The Rs 164 crore initiative will establish a 25 tonnes per day (TPD) bio-waste processing facility capable of producing 1 TPD of green hydrogen. This project represents a critical advancement in India’s energy transition by converting bio-waste into clean hydrogen.
