Starting July 1 (Tuesday), oil companies reduced 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder prices by ₹58.50. The cut offers relief to restaurants, hotels and businesses. Domestic 14.2 kg cylinder rates remain unchanged.
After the ₹58.50 price cut, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹1,665 in Delhi, down from ₹1,723.50—bringing relief to businesses across the national capital.
In Mumbai, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced from ₹1,674.50 to ₹1,616—offering significant cost relief to local commercial establishments.
With the latest cut, 19 kg LPG cylinders now cost ₹1,769 in Kolkata (down from ₹1,826) and ₹1,823.50 in Chennai (down from ₹1,881), easing costs for businesses.
Oil marketing companies (OMCs) revise LPG prices monthly based on global crude trends and other factors. July’s cut marks a notable drop, bringing relief to commercial users like hotels and restaurants.
In June 2025, 19 kg LPG prices were: ₹1,723.50 (Delhi), ₹1,674.50 (Mumbai), ₹1,826 (Kolkata), and ₹1,881 (Chennai)—after a ₹24 cut. July brings a sharper ₹58.50 reduction.
The price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged since April 2025, when the government last raised prices by ₹50 across the country.
The ₹50 hike in April affected both general users and Ujjwala beneficiaries. Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, said the increase was due to rising input costs.
