IIFT Placement Fetches High of Rs 46.5 Lakh Per Annum

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), which is part of the commerce ministry, announced on Tuesday that the placements for its flagship MBA in the International Business programme for the 2019-21 batch have been completed, with an average CTC of Rs 21.08 lakh per annum.

According to the report, the sales and marketing domain drew the most offers, with companies like Airtel, Amway, Bajaj Auto, Cipla, Dabur, Eli Lilly, GSK, HUL, ITC, L'Oréal, Paytm, and Tata Steel taking part.

"IIFT recently concluded the final placements for the 2019-21 batch of its flagship MBA (IB) Programme. The placements witnessed an average CTC of Rs 21.08 lakh per annum. The highest CTC offered stood at Rs 46.5 lakh per annum," the institute said in a statement.

Manoj Pant, Director of IIFT, stated that the institute provides the corporate sector with the country's best talent and that Indian and multinational corporations have continued to place their trust in the candidates.

It went on to say that the finance industry remained a one of the top employers for positions such as corporate treasury, investment banking, risk management, equity research, and fintech.

The institute's engagement with business organisations that hire students is expected to strengthen in the coming years, according to Rohit Mehtani, Head of Corporate Relations.
