Tom Clancy's The Sum of All Fears is my favourite book. Like all Tom Clancy books it was gripping and well ahead of its time. Clancy's world is incredibly detailed and credible in many ways, and all the more impressive for it is sometimes parallel to the world we live in today.

Saving Private Ryan is my all time favourite. The overall story, historical aspect, direction, cinematography and realism by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks compelled me watch the movie many times! Lately, Marvel and DC have caught my fascination.

I love Thai cuisine. Dishes such as authentic Thai fried rice, pad thai and mango sticky rice are to die for. That said, on any given day, I can have biryani over everything.

Of the 50 counties that I’ve been to, Egypt is my favourite. I loved Luxor even more than Cairo. The entire history of the city and the monumental buildings from more than 3000 years ago such as the Valley of Kings, pyramids, as well as the tasty food cannot be found anywhere else. For a history buff like me, the rest of the world pales in comparison to Egypt.

I was 33 when I started running in earnest. When I was past 30, I realised that I needed to do something new, enjoyable and healthy that doesn’t need a court or equipment. So, it dawned on me that I could do run outdoors. Initially I started with walking at a park near my home and slowly I switched to running between 3-5km. Now I run almost 10km every day.
