Noida-based dubpro.ai, an AI-driven dubbing solution start-up, has raised $500k in its seed round from Venture Catalysts. Investors such as Anicut Capital, 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, JJFO,and FirstCheque also participated in the round. The funding aims to revolutionize video content localization.
dubpro.ai, founded by Ishan Sharma and Rishikesh, enables creators and companies to localise their video content through advanced AI-driven dubbing solutions. It also offers vernacular content localisation.

dubpro.ai's pioneering solution leverages the latest advances in Language Model (LLM) technology to slash human intervention in video dubbing by over 80 per cent, as per the company statement.

AI-based start-ups have seen a significant rise in the last few years. A report by Nasscom says that 70 percent of start-ups are investing in artificial intelligence.

Similarly, globally, Gen AI start-ups in 2023 raised $10 billion in venture capital. According to GlobalData, a data and analytics company, Gen AI start-ups saw a 110 percent increase in funding in 2023 compared to 2021.
