BharatPe has announced the launch of BharatPe One, an all-in-one payment product that integrates POS, QR, and speaker into one device. This product is designed to streamline transactions for merchants, offering versatile payment acceptance options including dynamic and static QR codes, tap-and-pay, and traditional card payment options across a wide range of debit and credit cards. 

As per a company statement, BharatPe One is equipped with a high-definition touchscreen display, 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, and is powered by the latest Android operating system. BharatPe One delivers enhanced performance and security.

The company plans to launch the product in 100+ cities in the first phase. It will further scale it to 450+ cities over the course of the next 6 months. Interestingly, this comes soon after Paytm launched two ‘Made in India soundboxes. In a statement, Paytm said that these devices have better connectivity and sound connectivity.

In a statement, Paytm said, “Paytm Soundbox brings the power of the Rupay Credit Card to UPI, offering zero MDR to small merchants for transactions under Rs 2000.“ The fintech platform says that this service will allow small businesses to save on their transaction fees and hence enhance profitability. Soundboxes are used by more than 20 million merchants in India, with Paytm and PhonePe being the top users.
