X, previously known as Twitter, and now owned by Elon Musk. is experimenting with new subscription plans. It's CEO Linda Yaccarino confirmed the news during a meeting with debt holders.
Currently, the X Premium or Twitter Blue subscription costs $8 monthly. It will be divided into three categories: Basic, Standard, and Plus, according to Bloomberg.

X has not yet officially confirmed these premium subscription tiers.
Before Musk's acquisition, Twitter did not have a subscription service like Twitter Blue. Instead, only eligible users received a blue tick on their handle to verify if they were the actual person.

Twitter's Blue Tick was a badge of authenticity held by a select few. After Musk's takeover, he removed the Blue Tick from all users and turned it into a paid service, along with other benefits.
A researcher who goes by the handle @Aaronp613 examined the code of the latest X app version and discovered that the three subscription plans could be differentiated based on the number of ads shown to users.
X Premium Basic will display full ads, while X Premium Standard will show half the amount of ads, and X Premium will show no ads.
In India, the Twitter Blue or X Premium subscription costs Rs 900 per month for Android and iOS devices and Rs 650 per month for the web. Buyers can also choose an annual subscription priced at Rs 6,800 for the web. The annual subscription cost for X on iOS and Android is Rs 9,400 per year.
