Just a day after the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) passed its verdict in the Go First insolvency case, the troubled airlines' lessor(s) have revolted against it. As per a report, Go First lessor SMBC Aviation Capital has filed a plea in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), challenging the NCLT Delhi's insolvency order for Go First.

As per a report in LiveMint.com, the NCLAT will hear the plea on Thursday challenging NCLT's verdict on accepting the voluntary insolvency plea by Go First and giving it a protection from moratorium. The NCLT order was also welcomed by several stakeholders as it granted India's low-cost carrier a chance to revive and stand back on its feet.

However, several lessors and stakeholders are bringing new challenges for Go First. In addition to this plea, even Pratt & Whitney have reportedly said that they are following their own legal course of action against the allegations made by Go First Airlines.

For the unversed, Go First, in its voluntary insolvency plea, also blamed Pratt & Whitney for its downfall. The latter, in response, also refuted any such claims and said that Go First was in a habit of defaulting payments.
