InterGlobe Enterprises promoter Rahul Bhatia and former Tech Mahindra CEO CP Gurnani have launched an artificial intelligence (AI) firm named AlonOs. As per a report by Moneycontrol, the AI firm will help assist the travel, transport, hospitality, and logistics sectors with the help of AI in decision-making through a SaaS platform.
The majority shareholder of the Singapore-based company is InterGlobe, Indigo Airlines’s operator. The exact investment for the same has not been disclosed, as per the Mint.
Speaking to the Mint in an interview, Bhatia said, “We’re plagued by several issues (in the aviation industry), and we need change in how we deal with data and internal systems. It’s ironic that aircraft are at the cutting edge of technology, but what goes into getting the aircraft to fly is still very archaic.”

As per the company, it is in talks with Amazon and Microsoft to source their large language models in the travel, transport, hospitality, and logistics sectors.
“At AionOS, we are redefining industry standards with Intellios, our native platform that enables organizations to initiate their transformation towards cognitive enterprises. We are building SaaS solutions that integrate seamlessly into the fabric of industries such as travel, transport, logistics, and hospitality,” said Gurnani, as per Moneycontrol.
To reduce the likelihood of a data gap, AionOS will link with the enterprise's current data sources. Further, to ensure that AI supports and improves the existing business logic and computational models, it will merge this information.

Gurnani has mentioned that the company will be generating revenue by the first half of FY25. As per Mint, he said, “If we don’t start getting revenue in the next five months, there’s something wrong. You develop competencies and a roadmap for a reason, and we have to start generating revenue within the next five months.”
