Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani received the Icon of the Year award at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards 2024 on October 19. The award recognised her achievements as a woman entrepreneur and her status as a fashion icon. 

While dedicating the award to her mother Nita Ambani at the event, Isha said, “Thank you, Mom, for walking so I could run.” 

Earlier this month, Isha, a non-executive director of Reliance Retail, featured on the 2024 Hurun India Under35s list. The list celebrates the significant impact made by 150 entrepreneurs aged 35 and below across India. Additionally, she received the GenNext Entrepreneur Award at the Forbes India Leaders Awards 2023.

Net worth of Mukesh Ambani’s Daughter 

Isha, daughter of the richest man of India and wife of businessman Anand Piramal, has a net worth of nearly Rs 100 million (Rs 831 crore). She also owns a five storey luxurious bungalow in Mumbai’s Worli, which is valued around Rs 450 crore, according to Livemint. Isha, being one of the world’s richest heirs, has a luxurious lifestyle. She owns a Mercedes-Benz S-Class worth around Rs 1.9 crore and a BMW 7-Series worth nearly 2 crore. 

Isha Ambani’s Education and Career 

Isha is a graduate from Yale University with degrees in Psychology and South Asian Studies. She holds an MBA degree from Stanford University. Prior to joining her father’s business, she worked as a business analyst at Mckinsey & Company.

Apart from heading the retail consumer venture Reliance Retail, she serves as a board member at Reliance Jio, Reliance Financial Services, Reliance Foundation Institution of Education and Research, and Dhirubhai Ambani International School. With the changing landscape of business digitally, she is also credited for expanding Reliance Retail online, including e-commerce business Ajio, and the omni-channel beauty platform Tira. 

She is also actively involved in working for social causes through the Reliance Foundation, focused particularly on children and women.
