Ahmedabad-based Enercomp, a drone technology company, has raised Rs 2.6 crore in a funding round led by marquee angels from ah! Ventures Angel Platform, Bestvantage Investments and Soonicorn.
The company will utilise the fund to develop its drone technology and expand its manufacturing footprint.
Prior to this, the company raised Rs 1.5 crore in a round led by ah! Ventures Angel Platform in 2021.
"We are thrilled to have secured this investment to support our mission of revolutionizing the drone industry," said Enercomp Co-Founder, Jatin Patel.
"This funding will enable us to continue to innovate and develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers," he also added.

Pawan Kumar, Deal Lead, Enercomp and Venture Partner, ah! Ventures claimed, "The drone sector in India is poised for significant growth in civilian and defense applications. Incumbents like Enercomp will have a significant opportunity to grow thanks to the policy thrust of the Government of India in the drone sector."
According to a company statement, ah! Ventures has done 176 investments in 122 start-ups till date taking its total investment portfolio to Rs 364 CR ( around $45 million) with 16 exits and 44 follow-on rounds. It has claimed that 22 investments have happened through all three platforms and the fund in 2023.
