Mela Ventures announced the appointment of Viju George, a seasoned professional in the technology industry with extensive experience in investment analysis, as its new full-time partner.
George has built a distinguished career spanning over two decades, marked by his remarkable ability to spearhead strategic financial initiatives within the technology sector. His profound understanding of market trends, adept financial modeling skills, and astute investment analysis have consistently delivered substantial value to clients and stakeholders.

Recently, he served as a senior vice president in the Finance team at Mphasis. Prior to this, he has had rich collective experience in areas spanning investment analysis (primary area of professional experience), private equity and financial consulting. He has a rich background in financial and business modelling. He was the technology, telecoms and internet investment analyst at JP Morgan, India in the capacity of executive director. Over 2012-17, he has been consistently rated as among the best India Technology investment analysts by various investor polls/surveys such as Institutional Investors (Asia) and Institutional Investors (India).

Mela Ventures Trust is a SEBI-approved AIF Category-2 fund for the early-stage companies. With a goal to build next-gen entrepreneurs, the fund will focus on building a portfolio in areas, such as AI/ML, AR/VR, IoT, Cloud Migration and Deep Technologies.
Mela Ventures was founded by Krishnakumar Natarajan and Parthasarathy NS who co-founded Mindtree and taken it from a startup to a multi-billion-dollar market cap enterprise. Some of the investments include start-ups such as DoppelioFirstHive, Voiro, General Aeronautics and Infilect.
