Qualcomm India has selected the first batch of its Semiconductor Mentorship Programme (Qualcomm SMP) participants for 2022. The four shortlisted start-ups include FermionIC Design, Powency Circuit, Pantherun Technologies and Simyog Technology.

The tech major announced the mentorship program in April this year in collaboration with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY),

The start-ups under this programme will receive mentorship, technical training, and industry outreach support from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

The start-ups will be mentored by Qualcomm Technologies leaders on product planning and development.

The Qualcomm SMP will also facilitate masterclass workshops on technical aspects such as semiconductor design, testing, verification, and packaging, as well as non-technical aspects such as pitches, intellectual property rights, marketing, government incentives, opportunities, and scaling up teams.
