Logistics platform Shadowfax Technologies has partnered with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to optimise its hyperlocal and e-commerce deliveries. This makes it the first player in the logistics sector to have an integration with ONDC without any intermediaries.

Besides improving the delivery process, the integration will help sellers on the platform gain hyperlocal services in about 8500 pin codes. It will enable a quick scale-up once the ONDC platform matures further.

The integration will help provide a good array of logistics options to both buyers and sellers, remarked T Koshy, managing director and chief executive officer of ONDC.

Praharsh Chandra, co-founder and chief of operations at Shadowfax Technologies added, "We are very excited to be the first logistics provider to offer single integration access to all delivery models to the sellers on the ONDC platform. We look forward to working with the government to open new opportunities in the e-commerce space and giving all sellers, big or small and in the remotest of towns, equal access to take part in the digital commerce era.”

Shadowfax recently entered into partnerships with Zomato and Shiprocket as well.
