Indian benchmark indices opened at record highs on 15 September with Nifty trading above 20,150. The BSE Sensex jumped 237.50 points or 0.35 per cent to 67,756.50. The NSE Nifty gained 62.20 points or 0.31 per cent to 20,165.30.

Tata Motors, HCL Tech, HDFC Bank, Wipro, and Mahindra & Mahindra were the top gainers, while Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever, Titan Limited, Power Grid, and IndusInd Bank were among the top laggards on the BSE.

Bajaj Auto Hits 52-Week High On BofA Securities Upgrade To ‘Buy’
Shares of Bajaj Auto Ltd jumped nearly 5 per cent to touch a 52-week high of Rs 5,078 on Friday after BofA Securities revised its recommendation on the stock to ‘Buy’ from Neutral, citing multiple levers to growth.
The brokerage firm has also raised the price target from Rs 5,100 to Rs 5,550, which is an upgrade potential of nearly 15 per cent from the closing price of September 14.
