I enjoy the great taste of Gin and Tonic. It is my favourite drink on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It has a very relaxing effect.

I love books about the universe and its development. One of my favourite books is Physics of the Future by Michio Kaku.

Meat and steak really hit the spot when it comes to food. I really like Indian food as well, mostly because of the delicious taste of Indian spices. My favourite dish is Mulligatawny soup.

We have a holiday flat in Germany on an island away from the city with beautiful beaches, clean water and facilities for the children to play or go sailing. We prefer spending our holidays there.

When I was in Germany, I enjoyed playing soccer. When I moved to India, I started playing golf with my friends. It is the perfect way to forget about the day’s concerns.

I rarely watch movies but Slumdog Millionaire is a film that I adore. It depicts the reality of India in a beautiful manner — everyone has hopes and expectations and loves to dream big. But it also shows you the naked reality and hardships of daily life in certain parts of India.
