I am currently reading Alain de Botton’s The Architecture of Happiness, a journey through the philosophy and psychology of architecture and the indelible connection between our identities and our locations.
I take pictures of objects and landscapes, and of interesting juxtapositions of the two. I love to crop images and try to transform something mundane into something unusual or wonderful.
I believe in the power of yoga, which helps me keep calm and focussed. I have a great teacher from the Bihar School of Yoga, and the three mornings in a week that he comes home are bliss.
I love food and am constantly trying out new things. I am currently in love with Chinese Zejian cuisine, which I discovered recently when I was in Hangzhou.
I love Blade Runner, Ridley Scott’s extraordinary take on the Philip K Dick novel with the intriguing title Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. The cult film features brilliant sets, costumes and cinematography, coupled with a haunting soundtrack.
