The official tweet reads, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”
Musk’s announcement about him giving up the role of Twitter CEO comes in response to a Twitter poll that he organised on December 19, 2022. In the poll, the billionaire Chief Twit asked his followers if he should step down as the head of Twitter. It read, “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.”
At this point, Twitterati also believes that since the poll results weighed heavier on Musk stepping down as Twitter’s head, the Chief Twit has clarified the same with his latest tweet. As per poll results, 57.5 per cent of the voters, voted in favour of Elon Musk stepping down from the role of Twitter CEO.
