Just a few days after the Air India urination incident stirred controversy for the airline, now the company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has come forward and responded. As per a report, Air India CEO Campbell Wilson has asked staff to report any improper behaviour they may encounter on board or in any aircrafts.

According to PTI, the CEO, in an internal communication to staff said, "Whilst the story is more complicated than has been reported, there are clearly some lessons we can and must learn.....Most importantly is that, if an incident on our aircraft involves improper behaviour of such magnitude, we must report it to authorities at the earliest opportunity, even if we genuinely believe that the matter has been settled between the parties involved."

Addressing the affected passenger's distress on-board the Air India flight, the CEO, as per PTI, also added, "The same applies in the case of passengers deemed to meet the threshold of 'Unruly'."

For the unversed, few weeks back a drunk male passenger on-board an Air India New York-Delhi flight urinated on a female passenger travelling in the same business-class bay. Soon after the incident happened, several reports surfaced on the bizarre yet shocking incident, leading to a lot of anger among people. While police probe began, many, including the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) slammed Air India for their unprofessional behaviour, especially since it was alleged that the airline staff did not do anything.
