Apple Launches New Entry-Level iPad, iPad Pro With M2 Chip, Apple TV 4K

Apple on Tuesday launched the new entry-level iPad, the iPad Pro with an M2 chip, and an Apple TV 4K streaming device.

Apple has redesigned its entry-level iPad which is powered by Apple's A14 Bionic chip and features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. 

The new iPad is available from October 18. The iPad is available at a starting price of Rs 37,000 for the 64GB + Wi-Fi model, whereas the Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at Rs 46,000.

The new iPad (10th Gen) is available to order starting Tuesday at the Apple store online and it will be available in stores starting Wednesday, October 26. 

The 64GB Wi-Fi model of the new iPad is priced at Rs 44,900, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at Rs 59,900. 

Apple has launched the new iPad in blue, pink, yellow, and silver colour options.
Apple’s latest entry-level iPad features a USB-C port, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G support. It comes with iPadOS 16 and supports Apple Pencil (1st generation). 

It features a 12MP Wide camera on the rear and a 12MP Ultra Wide front camera.

iPad Pro (M2 Chip): Price And Features

The latest iPad Pro is powered by Apple’s powerful M2 chip and comes in two screen sizes – 11-inch and 12.9-inch. 

The brand-new iPad Pro comes with Liquid Retina display and is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage options.

The 2022 iPad Pro runs on iPadOS 16 and features an Ultra Wide camera with a 12MP sensor and a 122-degree field of view with support for ProRes videos. It supports the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil. Besides, there is Face ID, a Thunderbolt USB-C port, and a four-speaker audio system. 

Apple TV 4K Box

Apple on Tuesday also launched the new Apple TV 4K set-top box, which brings Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, and Apple Arcade together.

The set-top box features the A15 Bionic chip and supports Dolby Vision HDR as well as HDR10+ playback. 

It comes in two variants- WiFi only and Wi-Fi+Ethernet variant. The WiFi-only model comes with 64GB of internal storage and costs Rs 14,900 while the Wi-Fi+Ethernet version with 128GB of storage comes at Rs 16,900. The device is available for pre-order on the Apple India website and will be available from November 4 this year.
