Battrixx Announces Appointment Of Yashodhan Gokhale As New Chief Technology Officer

The battery division of Kabra ExtrusionTechnik Limited, Battrixx, announced the appointment of Yashodhan Pramod Gokhale as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Gokhale was previously associated with Tata Motors, Kalyani Power and Octillion Power Systems, among others. 

Commenting on the development, Anand Kabra, Vice-Chairman and MD, Kabra ExtrusionTechnik Ltd, said, “We’re very happy to welcome Dr. Yashodhan Gokhale into the Battrixx fold. As we embark on the journey of growth trajectory acceleration, it’s crucial to ensure that we have the most suitable leadership strategically placed to drive our technological development in the desired direction.”

As per the company’s statement, Gokhale earned his Ph.D. in Germany in 2010, receiving awards and scholarships from the Royal Society of Chemistry and the German government. According to Battrixx, the expertise of Gokhale includes nano process development and optimisation, lithium-ion battery manufacturing for 1Gwh plants, product life-cycle validation, and cost-effective lithium-ion battery deployment in solar and telecom projects

Gokhale said, “I’m extremely thrilled to join Battrixx as the Chief Technology Officer at this significant moment in the company’s growth trajectory when Electronic Vehicles and Batteries play a vital role in not only the country’s but also the world’s economy, as well as in the environment. I look forward to this new role of transforming the technology efforts of the company to drive efficiency”

Battrixx is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kabra ExtrusionTechnik (KET). The company manufactures lithium ion battery packs for the production of electric vehicles. KET is part of the Kolsite group, a company which has been  in the  plastic extrusion machinery business since 1962.
