Lately, there's been a surge in the use of deepfakes and AI-generated videos on social media. But when it comes to election season, this becomes a serious problem. With so much fake and unverified content floating around, it can mess with people's perceptions and influence their voting decisions. The danger lies in the fact that these fabricated statements and biased information could actually change the outcome of the election, which might have been different otherwise.
According to a report by ANI, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has already lodged a complaint against the AI-generated deepfake video that has been circulating on social media.
