After three shows in Mumbai in January next year as a part of their ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour 2025, the band will perform in Ahmedabad. The band has already announced its three shows in Mumbai, which are scheduled for January next year. It will play tracks from ‘Music of the Spheres’, new singles from ‘Moon Music’, and classic hits.

The announcement made rock lovers rush online to book tickets, which were sold out in less than an hour on the online ticketing website BookMyShow and left many fans disappointed. The frenzy offered sellers an opportunity to make huge profits as tickets were sold at exorbitant prices ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs 35,000.

Consequently, a ticket reselling scam came to light as several sellers hoarded tickets with an aim to resell them at exorbitant prices. After numerous complaints, the scam came under the government’s scanner and the Maharashtra police’s cyber wing directed BookMyShow to adhere to strict measures, including the sale of name-based tickets.

“There are increasing number of complaints across online forums and social media about problems faced in booking tickets of such high-profile concerts and events through online platforms and it was sold at 10 times the original price,” said an official, according to the Hindustan Times.

The scam also reached the Bombay High Court corridors as a public interest litigation (PIL) was filed seeking the court’s intervention to curb black marketing and ticket scalping.
