The Economic Survey of India 2023, released on Tuesday, pegged the country's GDP growth at 6.5 per cent. The survey was tabled in the Parliament earlier in the day by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The survey, formulated under the supervision of Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V Anantha Nageswaran, projected a baseline growth of 11 per cent in nominal terms and 6.5 per cent in real terms for the next fiscal. In FY23, GDP growth is expected at 7 per cent and nominal growth at 15.4 per cent.
