IPL 2023 On JioCinema Gets Sponsorship Boost As Viacom18’s Sponsor List Tallies To 23

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is on and being screened on various platforms by the official broadcasters. Since Viacom18 is one of them, the company’s flagship JioCinema has become the go-to place for many for IPL 2023 screening. As per latest updates, the platform has now also reportedly got a sponsorship boost.

According to media reports, the list of streaming sponsors on JioCinema for IPL 2023 has totalled to 23. With the addition of Jindal Panther TMT Rebar and Indeed as associate sponsors, the list of has increased for this season of the game. 

Before this, Viacom18 had several other sponsors like Dream11 as co-presenting sponsor, JioMart, PhonePe and Tata Tiago EV. Other sponsors include Appy Fizz, ET Money, Castrol, TVS, Oreo, Bingo, AJIO, Sting, RuPay, Ultra Tech Cement, Puma and so on.

Apart from this, Viacom18 has also said that the number of advertisers on JioCinema has also hit a new record based on the revenue logged. It clarified that both the revenue and advertiser count in IPL 2023 screening is much higher as compared to IPL 2022. 

IPL 2023 started with the opener match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT). The match also reportedly recorded much higher viewership and the average viewing minutes also significantly high. A similar trend is expected in the overall game season, as per several experts.
