Twitter logo has been changed! SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has taken a major step and replaced the ages-old Twitter blue bird logo. Instead of the blue bird, one can now see the infamous ‘Doge’ meme, of the Dogecoin crypto currency as the icon/logo of the social media platform.

During the wee hours of Monday, Twitter users suddenly noticed the ‘Doge’ meme on their Twitter handles and started relentlessly tweeting about the same. Soon after, billionaire Elon Musk too, tweeted a meme inferring that the blue bird Twitter logo is an old image and the new one could probably be this ‘Doge’ meme of the famous Dogecoin cryptocurrency.

Interestingly, several people have noticed the Twitter logo changed only on the desktop version of the social media platform as the mobile/app version still shows the Twitter blue bird logo.

In addition to this, Elon Musk also confirmed the change of blue bird to ‘Doge’ via another tweet which was a screenshot of a March 26, 2022 conversation between him and an anonymous Twitter account. In the chat, the latter was asking Elon Musk to buy Twitter and change the logo to ‘Doge.’

Sharing the screenshot, Elon Musk wrote, “As promised.”

Ever since Musk changed the Twitter logo to ‘Doge’, the value of the Dogecoin has risen by more than 20 per cent.
