Ashok Chaturvedi, Founder of UFlex Group, emphasised the role of artificial intelligence in addressing flexible packaging waste at a global business summit. 

“With a global population of 8 billion, we cannot ignore our reliance on flexible packaging,” Chaturvedi said. “The need of the hour is to deploy advanced AI sorting technologies.” 

The summit featured discussions on the evolving packaging landscape, social responsibility, and sustainability. 

Chaturvedi highlighted the importance of flexible packaging and the need for AI-powered sorting technologies. UFlex is investing in these technologies and plans to showcase its MVP soon. 

“By leveraging AI, we can enhance our recycling processes and contribute to a more sustainable future,” Chaturvedi said.

Jeevaraj G. Pillai, Director-Sustainability at UFlex, moderated a panel discussion on recycling challenges. He shared UFlex’s sustainability initiatives, focussing on innovation and environmental impact. 

“Our commitment to sustainability is not just about compliance; it is about innovating solutions that make a real impact on the environment,” Pillai said.
