Gensol Engineering Targets 2,000 MW Solar Trackers In US by 2028

The US tracker market is growing at a robust CAGR of more than 20 percent

Gensol Engineering, a homegrown company, announced the formation of a subsidiary in the United States with the goal of supplying over 2,000 MW of solar trackers to key renewable energy markets annually by 2028.    

Gensol Engineering said in a statement that the newly formed arm Scorpius Trackers Inc's first US office will be in California, putting the company at the centre of one of the world's most dynamic renewable energy markets.    

"Gensol Engineering announces entry into the US market with Scorpius Trackers Inc. With a goal to supply over 2,000 MW annually by 2028, Scorpius Trackers Inc aims to capitalise on its decade-long experience," the company said.

It has over 1,000 MW of contracted orders across key markets, including India, Africa, Japan, and the Middle East, it said.

The US tracker market is growing at a robust compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 20 percent, Gensol Engineering said.    

Gensol Engineering, based in Gujarat, is a market leader in the renewable energy sector, specialising in solar power EPC services as well as electric mobility solutions.
