The event aims to address the uneven progress towards the SDGs and accelerate action in areas like climate change, social inclusion, and economic equity.
Attendees include over 90 top officials from more than 40 countries, including eight heads of state and government. Among the political leaders are Prime Ministers Edi Rama of Albania, Alexander De Croo of Belgium, Dasho Tshering Tobgay of Bhutan, and Presidents Roberta Metsola of the European Parliament and Bernardo Arevalo of Guatemala. Notable international figures like Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the IMF, and John Kerry, US Special Envoy for Climate, will also participate.
