Mumbai-headquartered start-up Zoo Media has acquired a majority stake in the marketing enterprise The Starter Labs.
The company has not disclosed the amount of acquisition.
The strategic move is expected to help the start-up to strengthen its direct-to-consumer (D2C) business. Additionally, it will play a key role in the company's global growth strategy.
Since its inception in 2020, Zoo Media has acquired 11 brands like FoxyMoron, Pollen, The Rabbit Hole, Mammoth, Noesis, Phosphene, Doyen Oink, XP&D, TCM and Metaform.
Founded in 2016 by Kartik Khanna and Rehan Dadachanji, The Starter Labs works as a D2C marketing agency with a sixty-member-strong bandwidth. It has worked with companies like Cosco, Bummer, Pahadi Local, Captain Zack and BookMyShow.
