iPhone 15 Launch: How Much Are The New Apple Products Going To Cost And What Are Their Upgrades?

Apple has launched an array of products in its “Wonderlust” event. The American tech firm has introduced four new variants of the iPhone 15 series. It has also launched the Apple Watch Series 9 and the latest AirPods. The Apple devices will now come with a USB-C port after the European Union forced it to have those ports in its devices. This ends Apple’s 12 years of history with the lightning port.  

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max are currently the most premium and high-end iPhone offerings by Apple. While the Pro Max comes with a 17.00 cm (6.7″) Super Retina XDR display, the Pro model has a smaller screen sized at 15.54 cm. Both variants have been introduced with a titanium glass back, A17 chipset with a 6-core GPU. The phones’ cameras have received major upgrades. The phone has a triple camera setup, 48MP main camera with a 12 MP ultra wide lens, and a third telephoto zoom lens that gives it a 10x optical zoom range. The iPhone 15 Pro keeps the 3X optical zoom, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max gets a 5X telephoto lens. The sensor is now 25% larger. This is a huge improvement for iPhone photographers.

On the iPhone 15 Pro model, Apple is substituting an "action button" for the mute switch. When customers tap it, they have a variety of options in addition to the ability to switch between their ringer and silence. For instance, someone can press the button to begin recording a voice memo.

iPhone 15 Pro will cost Rs 134900 for the 128 GB model, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will cost Rs 159900 for the 256 GB variant.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus come with an A16 Pro chip with a 5-core GPU. There are two cameras in the phones. It has a 48MP main camera and an ultra wide lens to go along with it. Both smartphones will be offered in a range of colors, including Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow.

The iPhone 15 will start from Rs 79900 and the iPhone 15 Plus will cost Rs 89900.

Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2

The Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 come with the new S9 SiP chipset and a double tap gesture that lets the user control the watch through double tap gestures. The watches also feature a faster on-device Siri. Moreover, the devices have upgraded blood-oxygen, ECG, and temperature sensing apps. Apple is also calling the watch series its most energy efficient and carbon neutral.

The Apple Watch Series 9 starts with a price tag of Rs 41900 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts with a number of Rs 89900.

Apple has introduced the new AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with USB‐C charging capabilities. They will also have additional dust resistance, and Lossless Audio with Apple Vision Pro.
