iPhone 16 Arrives with a Sweet Surprise: iPhone 15 and 14 Prices Dropped by Rs 10,000

Apple recently launched its new iPhone 16 series at the Glowtime event in California earlier this week. The new series includes iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro. While the pre-orders will begin this week from September 13, the availability will start only from September 20.

But if your wallet seems a bit tight for the new iPhone 16, you may have a solution as fans seem to hit a doubt stroke of luck this time. Apple has cut prices on the previous generation iPhones by nearly Rs 10,000.

The prices have been slashed for various previous-generation models of iPhone. For instance, the iPhone 15 model is now available at Rs 69,900, down from the earlier Rs 79,900. Similarly, the iPhone 15 Plus is now available at Rs 79,900, compared to its old price of Rs 89,900.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have also witnessed a decline in price tags. The iPhone 14 now costs Rs 59,900, whereas iPhone 14 Plus is priced at Rs 69,900.

Double luck at play?

It is worth noting that the price cuts in iPhone's previous series come at a strategic time when festival season is just about to start in the country. Besides heavy discounts being offered by E-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, consumers are quite used to purchasing new products, be it electronics, appliances or vehicles, during the second half of the year owing to the festive season.

As for the new series, Apple has introduced many new features this time. The new iPhone 16 comes with advanced technology, including built-in AI (Artificial intelligence) features. It also has an external camera button which seems to have created a buzz among netizens.
