HCL Technologies (HCLTech), a global technology company, has announced the launch of HCLTech AI Force, an innovative GenAI platform. The patented GenAI platform is built on Azure OpenAI and can be integrated with Microsoft GitHub Copilot.
The GenAI solutions will enhance software development and engineering workflows, boosting efficiency, as per the company statement.

It offers a highly customisable suite of GenAI-based solutions that inject intelligence into every aspect of software development and engineering workflows to improve efficiency, the company said in a statement.

HCLTech also teamed up with SAP Business Technology Platform, an open cloud platform, to accelerate Gen AI’s adoption. As per the company statement, the collaboration intends to establish a collection of Gen AI application cases tailored to SAP software.
With AI becoming a new constant, many companies are working on developing Gen AI models. Recently, Google introduced its new open-source AI model, Gemma, for developers. The AI model will provide developers with advanced tools that can be used to make AI applications.
Investment in AI by companies is supposed to increase this year, as per a report titled 'BCG AI Radar: From Potential to Profit with GenAI'. According to the report by Boston Consulting Group, a consulting firm, “71 per cent of the leaders surveyed say that they plan to increase their company’s tech investments in 2024, up from 60 per cent in 2023.”
