9Unicorns Appoints Former Senior Associate At McKinsey & Company Lumani Shah As Principal

9Unicorns, a global accelerator program and venture fund, has appointed Lumani Shah as Principal. In this role, Lumani will drive strategic growth initiatives and foster the success of the accelerator's portfolio companies, further cementing 9Unicorns' position as a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship.

With close to a decade of professional services experience across multiple domains, Lumani brings a potent blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution excellence to her new role. 

Prior to joining 9Unicorns, Lumani worked as a senior associate at McKinsey & Company, where she advised clients across sectors, including logistics, SaaS, and infrastructure services. Her expertise spanned building strategies for corporations, delivering commercial diligence for private equity investments, and driving excellence through transformations for start-ups as well as large conglomerates.

Recently, the company also announced the appointment of Vinod Keni as a partner. In this role, Vinod will work on the portfolio development of Fund I and create a robust fundraising and LP network. Before this, Vinod was the founder as well as the managing partner of Peachtree Capital Partners, where he played a significant role in angel investing, stakeholder management, M&A activities, and investor relations. 

Today, 9Unicorns is hosting its Global Demo Day, or DDay 5. As per a report by Inc42, portfolio start-ups of both Venture Capital and 9Unicorns are all set to secure $110 million in funding. More than 20 start-ups from diverse sectors, including e-commerce and SAAS, are set to present their ideas.
